Zhoutong Jiang

Zhoutong came to UIUC in Fall 2015 via a collaborative 3+2 education program between UIUC and Zhejiang University, China. He obtained his B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2016, and is now pursuing his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Transportation Engineering at UIUC. His current research interest lies in shared mobility, transportation and infrastructure systems, and safety. He has been partially supported by the Illinois DOT, ZJUI Institute, NSF, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Ruifeng She

Ruifeng received his B.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering from UIUC in 2018, and he is now pursuing his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Transportation Engineering at UIUC. His current research interest lies in management and planning of autonomous and connected vehicle platoons, and transportation infrastructure planning for efficient and safe traffic flow under continuous equilibrium. He has been partially supported by the US DOT Region V University Transportation Center, and the U.S. NSF.
Haolin Yang

Haolin obtained his B.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering from Tsinghua University, China, in 2018, and he is now pursuing his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Transportation Engineering at UIUC. He is interested in routing and network traffic control in the context of autonomous and connected vehicles. His work is partially supported by BNSF Railway and NSF.
Yining Liu

Yining came to UIUC in 2017 as a student of the B.S. + M.S. program between UIUC and the Central South University, China. He received his M.S. in Civil Engineering at UIUC in May 2019, and now is continuing his study at UIUC to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering. He is also the coordinator of the Chinese-American Railway Transportation Joint Research Center. His research interest lies in the modeling of urban transportation and infrastructure system, and shared mobility. His work is supported by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Jesus J. Osorio

Jesus holds an M.S. in Civil engineering and is currently pursuing Ph.D. in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He is working as a research assistant in projects related to transportation systems evaluation, transit networks, intelligent transportation systems, highway safety, and previously traffic safety related to the application of Vision Zero principles. He attended to Valparaiso University prior to joining UIUC in 2017.

Min obtained her B.S. degree in Traffic and Transportation Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, China, in 2016, after which she came to UIUC in 2017 and received her M.S. from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UIUC in 2019. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering at UIUC. Her research interests include public transit planning and parking management.

Xin is now an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His M.S./Ph.D. research at Illinois was supported by a Kwan Memorial Fellowship and a Clean Energy Education Fellowship, both from UIUC, and funds from NSF and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
